All rehearsals are mandatory. Absences must be communicated in advance by contacting the front desk (even for conflicts that were listed on your audition form). In emergencies, or on Sundays when the DCN front desk is closed, please email Samantha at srobison@dancenter-north.com to communicate absences.
Understudies must attend all rehearsals. Absences are counted the same for understudy roles & all related rehearsals.
All roles are listed individually, unless otherwise noted. For example; DRAGON is not included in CHINESE rehearsal unless listed.
Every Saturday, PP1 & PP2 dancers must attend their entire company rehearsal class, regardless of the roles that are scheduled to be rehearsed. PP3 dancers are not required to attend the entire company rehearsal class on Saturdays from 4:00-6:00; only the rehearsals scheduled for their roles (including understudy roles).
Always bring a notebook and pencil to rehearsals. Dancers must be professional & prepared with proper attire, shoes, & hair. Be respectful of fellow dancers and the directors by giving your full attention to the rehearsal.
If you have any questions, please contact a director or a member of the DCN administrative staff. We are here to help you! New families will also be assigned a mentor this week to offer additional support.
